Different content types require different levels of time, knowledge, research, and effort to develop. I offer a tiered approach for my services to fit your needs. My goal is to be a dependable source of support and encouragement for everyone I work with.

Storytelling
Have a story to share, but don't have time to write it? Let me take it off your plate. We'll work together to ensure I fully understand your goals and writing style, then I'll do the work to bring it to life. 

Tier 1
If you have interview notes and/or previously completed research on hand but need help putting it all together, this is the option for you.

Tier 1 storytelling support includes:

• One written story up to 700 words
• Two rounds of editing
• One-week turnaround time

Tier 2
If you have some research to share as background for a story and can support coordination of interviews, this option is a good fit.

Tier 2 storytelling support includes:

• One written story up to 1,000 words
• One interview with a source of your choice
• Two rounds of editing
• Two-week turnaround time

Tier 3

If you’re starting from scratch on a long-form article and need someone to conduct research, coordinate and lead multiple interviews, or something more, this option has you covered.

Tier 3 storytelling support includes:

• One written story up to 1,500 words
• Two interviews with sources of your choice
• Coordination of interviews (if needed)
• Up to three rounds of editing
• One-month turnaround time (depending on availability of sources to be interviewed)

Editing
We've all been there—you've spent hours reviewing your own work, and now, you're feeling blind to it. I can be the fresh set of eyes you need to keep your content crisp and concise. I offer one-time or ongoing editing support for:

• Websites
• Blog articles
• Newsletters
• Social media posts
• Presentations
• Reports
• Resumes

Tier 1 
This is a good option if you have content that's close to complete, but need someone to ensure it's grammatically correct, clear, and consistent. I'll look for things like spelling, punctuation, and formatting so that you can be confident your work is in tip-top shape. 

Tier 1 editing support includes: 

• One hour of copy editing for any type of prewritten content 
  • For websites, this covers landing pages only. (Subpages can be added for additional cost.)
• Document with tracked changes for your consideration
• One round of correspondence to refine and/or answer questions regarding suggested edits
• Three-day turnaround time 

Tier 2  
This option includes the same level of support offered in Tier 1 and goes one step further by providing a line-by-line review of your content for word choice and sentence structure.

Tier 2 editing support includes:

• Two combined hours of copy editing and line editing for any type of prewritten content
  • In addition to spotting any issues with grammar, spelling, punctuation, or formatting, this includes making thoughtful suggestions where text could be changed for improved clarity (i.e., wordsmithing). 
  • For websites, this covers landing pages and one layer of subpages. More pages can be added for additional cost.
• Document with tracked changes for your consideration
• Two rounds of correspondence to refine and/or answer questions regarding suggested edits
• One-week turnaround time

Tier 3
This is the best option if you need a comprehensive review and writing assistance with your content. It covers reviewing for accuracy, providing suggestions for potential text changes, and developing content that is either incomplete or needs some extra brainpower to sharpen your ideas. 

Tier 3 editing support includes:

• Four combined hours of copy editing, line editing, and developmental editing for any type of prewritten content
  • For websites, this covers your entire site. Final pricing will be dependent on total number of pages and the extent of editing and/or writing needed.
• Document with tracked changes for your consideration
• Up to three rounds of correspondence to refine and/or answer questions regarding suggested edits
• Three-week turnaround time

Please note:

• I typically require a non-refundable retainer for committing to provide you with my services within a specific time frame and turning down other potential projects. This retainer is 50% of the total project cost; the remaining 50% will be billed once final work is delivered. 
• I typically write and edit using Associated Press style, but will adopt your preferred style and any additional writing guides or stylistic choices you may have. 
  You as the client will always retain creative control over any content I assist with, and I'll welcome your input throughout the process.
